World cup fever is hitting the world at the moment and it seems to have also hit Samuel Eto’o too. As a reward for qualifying for the 2010 World Cup Finals, the Cameroon striker now at Inter Milan, bought each and every one of his team members a £29,000 designer watch. This totals close to a whopping £1m. True, he probably isn’t exactly scrimping around for cash the amount he gets paid!
The watches are in actual fact his own inspired brand of watches would you believe. They feature his name inscribed just below the 12 hour mark and the inside watch mechanics can be seen at the 6 o’clock mark. The Eto’o watch also features a Sapphire anti-reflective glass face and a black/brown alligator leather watch strap.
Unfortunately for his team mates it doesn’t look like they’ll be receiving any more rewards this summer as they are now out of the World Cup.

Check out Eto’o World for his range of watches.
