H. Samuel, the high street retailer, has won the vote of Cosmopolitan readers once again, by sweeping the award for the Best Watches category in this year’s online fashion awards. This prestigious accolade was bestowed on the popular chain by Cosmopolitan judges and readers, and the award will no doubt only enhance H.Samuel’s solid reputation as the most informative, reliable and trustworthy online retailer of watches and timepieces.

The Cosmopolitan Awards for Online Fashion were held on 5 March 2009 on the stylish roof gardens in Kensington, London. Top celebrities including Lisa Snowdon, Fearne Cotton and Mark Heyes joined forces with Cosmo readers and top fashion experts to celebrate the best in online retailing, representing the best of fashion online with various categories including the Sexiest Heels, Hottest Partywear – and of course, the Best Watches.

The award for H.Samuel’s best online watch retailing also recognises the hard work that the retailer has demonstrated in building a competitive presence in the dynamic world of online retail, and for becoming a leading UK retailer of watches, diamonds, jewellery, collectibles and gifts on the net. Vicki Lake, the H. Samuels Online Store Manager told the awards audience that the company were honoured and delighted to receive their award for a second year in a row, paying homage to the dedication of the team in building the online brand to such successful levels.

Two of the judges, Lisa Snowdon and Fearne Cotton, also expresed their love of online shopping, noting that surfing for fashion from the comfort of home was a big draw and provided all the joys of shopping “without crowds or queues”.
