Casio aren’t typically renowned for their more sophisticated watches as they are more successful with the G-shock and sports ranges. This Casio EQW-500BE-1AVER however, is one of the most elegant and beautiful watches they have created and is a member of their Edifice range which has produced a line of incredible chronograph watches that are up there with the best both on a quality and value for money level. This Casio EQW-500BE-1AVER in particular brings a touch of class with the rose gold plated side casing I’m a big fan of this material at the moment. It’s not too overwhelming like gold finishes yet it will attract some attention and compliments for its unique bronze sparkle. It’s also very subtle how Casio have added small touches of rose gold within the chronograph’s faces and hands. The use of this material also makes the watch look and feel much more luxurious. This watch can be picked up for less than £150 and gives off the impression that it is worth a whole lot more.

This is done using radio controlled signals around the world and this allows the watch to stay up to date with local time. The case diameter size (46mm) and thickness (15mm) may be quite large for those with smaller arms and wrists however, big and chunky is not all that bad these days and adds to the manliness of the watch and wearer.
